Yeah. I totally did. Nothing fancy, just Jhonen’s birthday up on my shoulder.
FYI, the font is Helvetica Neue 35 Light with my own custom letter spacing.

Everyone sounds different than they think they sound.
I mean, have you ever heard yourself… like, I dunno, on your answering machine message, or on some home video or something? And you sit and think to yourself, “do I really sound like that!?”.
We bought a video camera in preparation for my son’s birth. We wanted to make sure we had a video camera for all those important life bits, you know… birth, first steps, first words, going off to school, loss of virginity, et cetera. We don’t actually have much of before Jhonen’s birth; mostly just Elise griping amd throwing up a lot; but we’ve got a lot after he was born, in the first few hours, and us coming home from the hospital.
And I totally sound like a hick. I didn’t realize that I had that much of a Texas accent. It kind of crept up on me, I guess. I’m not necessarily complaining… I mean, I love Texas… I’m one of those people who is all about the “I wasn’t born here but I got here as fast as I could” attitude. But really… I had no idea I would pick up the accent so bad.
Oh well. I guess it could be worse. I could sound Canadian. But I never realized how much I’d picked up Texas. It’s crazy.
