read the small print. it will say DSL @ X speed. usually i think they are talking about 768k dsl
but like i said, i have 6 megabit DSL which is 600kb+ per second
most comcast users i know on good days get from 350-450
Take the full value of the number they say in the commercials, and divide by 8 to get your actual measurable bandwidth.
6mb = 6,000,000 bits.
6,000,000 / 8 = 750,000 bytes, or 750Kb/s (in a perfect world, obviously)
