Does anyone know if it is possible to put a base system or base box in the trunk of a convertable car with a soft top?

Thank you verry much.

It really depends on the car, some soft top cars store the top in the trunk, while some have a small compartment behind the seat. If it stores the top in the trunk, you may still have some room near the rear of the trunk to put your box and subwoofers in there. You won't get as much dynamic bass response with the speakers facing the opposite direction, but it still sounds pretty good, depending on your hardware.

Thanks for the info. Its a Pontiac Sunfire and im sure it stores int the trunk. Not positive tho, its my mos car. My dad is puting on a new carbon fiber hood with ram air and a new front and rear bumper i forget what brand it is. I also have another question for you. If we want to put ground effects on the car should we wait until we get the side pannels ( from the body kit ) or can we have it put on know and the side panels later. Just curious if it would matter. Like if we would have to have them mooved after we put the side pannels on.

You can put on the front and rear ground effects, and you shouldn't have any problem putting on the side panels. Depending on the kit, you can do that, but if it doesn't happen to be the case, you could always just remove the front and rear and put on the sides, it's really simple if you have a well designed kit.

I have a 1997 240sx SE and I also have a 1984 300zx, both of which I drag with. Neither of them have much done to them, I'm in negotiation with someone to turbocharge my 240sx, and the 300zx has some engine damage, so an engine swap is in the works for that one.

Wow you have some really nice cars!!!! My next car I have no idea what im going to get but im torn between truning it into a lowrider or something that would blow everyones doors off!
I might just fix the engine in this car and ge a nother body similar to it but before i gt rid of it i will probably put a couple tanks of NOS in it just for the fun of it!!!!!
