error in lib.php

I followed the installed directions to the letter.
I also know i have set up the mysql right cuz i have no problems running the php code in a script editor.

However everytime i try to connect via online in "realtime" even running the install i get the same error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\WWW\dk\lib.php on line 55

if someone can tell me what im doin wrong i would appreciat it.

Well doesnt matter now, i just decided to quit screin around with each of the servers seperatly n got them all in a all in one package n downloaded "easyphp", and seriously after just some minor editing i had the thing running with in minutes. A+ job on the rpg man i cant wait to see what i cna do with it n all these awesome mods.

By default, PHP 5.x comes with true MySQL turned off. Or at least it did at one point. Maybe they've relented and turned it back on in the stock install.

But if MySQL was turned off in PHP, that's why you wouldn't get it to work. It's an issue with PHP, not the game.

Yea it took me a while to figure that out after scanning several php.net help files =P

After all that messing around i ended up screwing up my configs between my sambar server n php so i just did a flat install with easyphp n it ran beautifully, n still not one problem to the day, beautifful job on your gaem n i hope you keep the project going forver! ...... or atleast keep a mod section open for it hehe =)
