I think you fail to realize, I don't care if he really finishes it. I signed up and played for 2 minutes until I got bored. Not my kinda game. I was just stepping into the Jamin circle jerk that was going on around here.

Usually someone will make a post, and like everyone will praise Jamin like he's some kind of online nerd God or whatever--which hey, neat. I was just talking shit because this thread needed some color.

I thought the implication that you made about us not being friends was pretty cute. It was nice of him to tell me that himself, instead of his wife doing it for him. Hell, if he really didn't want any contact at all with me, he could simply delete this profile. We all know how reluctant I am to sign up for anything, let alone twice.

Otherwise, I know that Jamin's job prolly sucks all manner of ass. I don't doubt it at all... it always seemed like a shitty move to go into a field that you love--because now it sucks. Either way, I only bust on the game to give him shit. I know how much work he's put into it, which makes it giving him shit, and not actually being mean.

There is a difference of motive, clearly.

Lastly, I don't know why you feel the need to be his freakin Press Secretary to his friends. He's not 2 years old. Jamin is a good guy, and we've had some good times. I don't hold it against him that he's too busy to sit around online with his less successful and unmarried counterparts like he used to.

We warned him that this would happen. That he'd grow up, and life would start to suck for real. He didn't listen, and now he's paying the price(taxes!)

meh. I'm not even mad. I don't really care.

Tell Jamin to get at me through AIM sometime... always on, phone and all.

It's not that Jamin doesn't want contact with you, ya'll just haven't been much of friends since High School.

Ralph you need to understand that not everyone takes your "giving him shit" comments as funny. They get down right annoying, especially when all the rest of the punks on the forums have been giving him shit about the same things, over and over again.

I'm not his press secretary, I just say things when they piss me off. Those comments don't bother Jamin in the least; they get on MY nerves. I'm not speaking for him at all. He can speak for himself.

I'm not mad either, you should remember how quickly I can get attitude....(Elise the Beast) right?

It takes intelligence to understand everything. Even the ramblings of a mad man, they make sense to him, or he wouldnt be rambling on about them.

Since you more or less made a decent point with the rest of your post, allow me to focus on this point here. First of all, I didn't get married and move across country to go to a Christian college that my Grandparents sent me to. That wasn't the choice I made. I was truly heartbroken that one of my associates was leaving town at that point in my life.

I got over that fact eventually, as I realized that life goes on--and for some of us smart enough to leave town and get married and go to college--LIFE GETS BETTER. I don't know why Jamin got married. All of his friends tried to talk him out of it... first jokingly, then more seriously, then begging, then acceptance. He's married now. That changes things. It means he can't go and do cocaine off of the strippers ass anymore(at least not as frequently!).

But in the end, one thing has not changed. I still count Jamin as a friend. No amount of time or distance or Estrogen filled Press Secretaries will change that. Jamin may be getting fatter, dumber, more wealthy and growing hair in places that didn't exist a few years ago--but that doesn't change much.

People don't change. Situations DO change.

If we were really friends 6 years ago, we are really friends today. The only thing that has changed is the distance of time and location. The Situation has changed. The people have evolved. But in the end, we're the same people we were then--different perspective.

So in closing, I take great personal offense to the fact that I haven't been much of a friend to Jamin since high school. In fact, those are fighting words as far as I'm concerned. It would take nothing short of Jamin delivering those words himself for them to have any real meaning. I can only hope that you have somehow misspoke or that I misunderstood what you'd meant by what was said... in either case, it really pissed me off. I had written a long ass reply like weeks ago or whatever, but I never got around to finishing it... so this will have to do.

In closing for a second time, if that WAS what you meant... fuck you.

First of all, Fuck you back. It was what I meant.

Second of all, I disagree with the fact that people don't change. I think people grow up, and they obtain different interests that they once had in High School.

And third of all, I'm very sorry that I hit a sore note with you. I wasn't trying to be nasty by saying that you guys weren't much of friends anymore. I was simply stating a truth in my opinion. Maybe we just have different views on what a friend is. I consider a friend someone that I talk to on a regular basis, or someone that I call when something bad has happened.

In closing, as you say, I did mean what I said, you didn't misunderstand, and as you like to call me, Jamin's press secretary is done with this...
