I thought it would be fun to show some progress diary of my DK game. Its called Magestica at the moment but thats just a WIP name.
Ive made a few small mods myself (proud as i dont actually know php lol) still only about 20% done. But its good fun! This is a great script!
Features ive customised. register by Races instead of class. 7 Races. 3 Faiths - Fire, water and Earth. 7 Main Cities - one per race. Avatar changes depending on Social status. Small Avatars next to username in memberlist, top users and richest.

WHO THE HELL DREW THOSE IMAGES!!! WHY DONT THEY HAVE ANY NOSES!! HOW THE HELL ARE THEY SUPPOSE TO SMELL! WITHOUT SMELL YOU CANT Smell your partners underwear.... mmmmmm
Although they have no noses, they are awesome... The images in my old DK game were just completly random and hand drawn. Then again, I had enemies like President Nixon and Sponge elementals... so good I didnt need an artist.
Just like to point out, lots of images tends to make some connections slower.
Pretty nice graphics, sounds like you have a good overall plan for what you want to be accomplished.
I thought of making a genaric RPG out of DK and adding alot of the basics to it, and running an rpg similar to this. Just because there's no game out there made with DK that everyone can point at.
But inventories and market places are going to be hell. I wanted to really deck out an RPG if I made it, with so many items you cant even shake a stick at them. So I never really followed through and kept on with what I've been doing.

It's always nice to see an orginal art scheme to go along with a game, it just gives it that much more life. When I complete my project I hope to tack some art onto it, but for now I'm just trying to get the wheels turning. xD
im not talking like a chinsy inventory like full blown
-adding in 5-6 more equips -adding in a bag system or a certain amount of items you can hold so you can either: a. sell them to a shop later b. keep them for field/quest event -marketplace as in user posts up items to sell and other people can buy them
im sure making a 5 slot inventory system with exsisting equips and adding in a few shops can be done in a few hours. And if you actually did everything I listed above in a few hours, hats off to you.
One of the more advanced coders is trying to pull off a decent "market/auction place" and it doesn't take "a few hours" to pull something that complicated/nice off.

I already have a market/auction your talking about. You can list an item for 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, or 15 days. At the end you have the option of relisting it or taking it off the market.
well the inventory and marketplace were done by my coder hes very fast ^^ the game is going wonderfully! heres a recent screencap. were hoping to have it open for beta testers before xmas! the coder and i are working very hard on this (every day ><)
