Hello

I'm the newest member, but I have a problem with DK system. I'm modifying the game through my computer, but I have unreal IP, so I do it on localhost.
So when I've entered the game there is no tows, and no inns also shops. How can I fix the problem?

You need a database. It's possible running on your localhost that your not running your own with apache.

I don't understand. I use EasyPHP. So I install the game in folder www, delete install.php, make a username and I'm in. But when I enter there is no city that I'm in, also no inn, the shop and maps. It's like some file is missing. But it doesn't!

Will you explane it to me how to do it?

Well I don't think that there is a way. I mean, I'm with unreal IP, so outside visitors won't see the game. I will tell what I've done already:

1. I've downloaded the files.
2. Installed EasyPHP.
3. Put the files in the "www" folder of the EasyPHP program files.
4. Delete the install.php.
5. Make an account then enter the game.
6. But when I've looked there is nothing else to do, except fighting and exploring. There is no town that I'm in, no inn in the town, no shops.

I have a screen shot of the modified game that I made so far, but the text is black and that's the second problem. I don't no from where to change it to white or other color. Will you tell me the file that I have ot change?

Here is the screen shot:

Sorry for the double post - I've found out that the admins don't see the inns and towns, only the ordinary users. But although I still don't understand something - when I go out of town to explore I don't know how to come back to town nor how to get to other. \:\)

So basically please tell me these:

1. How to change the font from black to white.
2. How to return or go to another town.
3. How to get off that awful white border to the Exploring, Planets and the other categories. \:\)

This is some weird modified version, so it's not going to work correctly. It's best to only download and install the stock dk. So you can be sure it's correct. Because Jamin doesn't mess things up.

1. Do <font color=white>Text here</font>. It's in html do <font color="white">Text here</font>

2. A back link is <a href=\"index.php\">

3. To remove white border, go into your templates folder and open primary.php Look for borders like top border, side border blah blah. Change that.

Well thank you for the help but this is not a modified version. It's YOURS that you gave for download but I've only changed the images, nothing changed in the script.

The tags with the text - in which file should I put them and where?

I'm telling you again... it's NOT a modified version. It's yours that you've put for download in the index of DK. But I've just put my OWN images, not yours that are in folder "images". For example:

the image title_exploring.gif - I've made my own with Adobe Photoshop and named it the same. Overwrite it on the original and presto. Understand? Again, it's NOT a modifies version of the game.

Alternate Distributions :: 15 files

I do not have a full version in there. I have some in the mod's index yes, but that's only small mods to the game. Not the whole version and all files.

Here is a screen shot of almost completed modified game.
http://i20.servimg.com/u/f20/11/01/51/29/screen10.jpg

Also please tell me how to get rid of the borders, 'cause I didn't understand the last time \:\)

And how can an ordinary user and the admin could get spells?

And how to change MP to FP below the green middle bar?

You have removed copyright which is a no no.

To change borders. Go into primary.php which is in your templates folder. Look for this.

-------------------------------------------------------------
td.top {

border-bottom: solid 2px black;

}

td.left {

width: 180px;

border-right: solid 2px black;

}

td.right {

width: 180px;

border-left: solid 2px black;

}
----------------------------------------------

Modify it how you want.

For spells, go into your admin panel and into users. Type in the number of the spells you want. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and so on.

To change MP to FP, go into your templates folder, open rightnav.php and find MP and change it to FP. Your done then.

I didn't removed the copyright. This copyright that you see on the screen is only for this mod of the game. Powered by is standing, and the creators page and everything is in help. I'll change it if you want no problem.

And thank you for the answers ;\)
