Ha! I fooled you. Silly person, you probably thought this would be where I gave you instructions to change the copyright or something, didn't you? Well, you're wrong.

You cannot legally change or remove the copyright notice.

Let me repeat that. In great big letters.

You cannot legally change or remove the copyright notice.

Do not send me a private message asking about it. Do not send me an email asking about it. Don't ask in the public forums, either. If you post in the public forums, Anman or myself will delete the message. If you send me a PM or an email, it will be ignored and probably deleted.

And don't try to offer me money in exchange for the right to do it, either, thinking that maybe if you bribe me with money I'll give in and let you do it. The game code, an unencrypted copy of lib.php, and the legal capacity to change the copyright, are not for sale. Period.

Those are the terms of the license you agreed to when you downloaded the game engine. If you do not find those terms acceptable, please find a different engine with a more liberal license to power your game.

Ok, let me issue a correction.

I have taken a second look at the license file, and it does indeed say, quoting, "Authorization to remove or modify output of copyright notices can be obtained from Renderse7en for a fee."

So, in order to stay within the stated terms of the license myself, I should probably make this option available.

The fee referred to in Section 8 ("Proprietary Labels") of the Dragon Scourge End User License Agreement, is hereby set at $100,000,000.00 USD (one hundred million dollars).
