I'd like to make the background of my Scourge game black, but there is one problem: the copyright bar. You can't edit the color.

So I'd like to ask anyone who has an uncoded file of lib.php (Jamin? Anman?) to please edit it so that the copyright bar color can be edited in the adminpanel or is just changed to black (with the encoding remaining of course) and upload the new lib.php file here.
I think there are a lot more people who want a dark background, so I hope anyone can help.

Or maybe it is already possible to edit the color: Soopermuse has a black copyright bar on his site (http://reckoningknight.com/login.php?do=login).

Its actually quite easy to change the bar at the bottom. Im not sure if you have it set up by default though. I think its to discourage people from just making the bar black or invisible. so you cant see it. I mean, even if it isnt, I wouldnt have put it into the code.

So how can I make it black?
I don't want to make it 'invisible', it would only make my site look awful.
But my whole site is black and for 90% done, I just need to change the color of the copyright bar.

Open:

css/primary.css

Find:

 Code:
td {
    vertical-align: top;
    }

Replace with:

 Code:
td {
    vertical-align: top;
    background-color: #YOUR-COLOR-CODE-HERE;
    }

Save and close.

Hmmm.. Turns out I was wrong. My CSS expert just changed our lib file to suite our css. You should be able to change it someone playing with Primary.php template and your css though. Try putting a class inside the table that IS your bottom nav and then hit it up with css.

If you view the source of the page, you'll see that the table for the copyright bar is hard-coded to have a white background. Adjusting the "table" class will do nothing, as this is overwritten upon display. So, you than have to make the default "td" class have the desired background color.

Thanks for your replies.
One note: this changes the background color of your entire website and not only the copyright bar.
And when I added 'border: solid 2px white;' you'll get borders everywhere ;\)

Right, so simply change the background/style of the td class to whatever you want. This, of course, changes all td's... but at least you can change the code of those other td's. Simply go through the templates and change all the places that you don't want to look similar to the copyright bar.

Unfortunately this is how you have to do it. With the copyright bar being part of the encoded lib.php, the only alternative is to crack to encoding for the lib.php.

I suppose we could make one with a black bar. Ill have to ask jamin what encryption to use though. He wouldnt mind if I gave out a lib.php file with a black bar and white writing

Next time I get around to opening up my Scourge folder, I'll do a quick little refresh build that will give you a bit more css (or something) customization for that.
