I was browsing the forums and decided to wander off from my usual routine in the Dragon Scourge forum. I found this little forum and got jealous of Jamin's 3D render so I made something purdy myself.

I threw in some text and used the magic eraser to make it transparent. With another layer, I rendered some clouds then some difference clouds. Then I applied a color halftone followed by a polar coordinate filter. A couple radial blurs...a wave filter...then I found the edges. Looks nice.

I tried to maintain the blue from Jamin's 3D render but I couldn't help but complement it with some orange.

Nice.

I've been trying to get into blue+orange lately too... they do look good together, but I have a tendency to overdo the orange and I end up not liking it, because I'm not generally a big fan of orange in and of itself.

I also made an image of the 7 logo but imageshack is being anal and won't let me upload anything. I guess I'll just search for another image host.

Ah photobucket.com works nicely.

I thought the idea of a black sun was kind of cool so I tried incorporating it.

I created a circle and used the pen tool to select shapes and formed a 7. I used the same filters mentioned above except without the wave filter. Then I edited the hue/saturation to make it yellow. Finally, I plopped a little black circle in the center of the rays and goofed around with the blending options.

It's the sun. What do you expect? It's not any brighter than the white background on these forums.

Oh, thanks. Is it really worth the effort to find the folder the psd file is in and then re-upload it though? I was just posting images out of boredom and didn't even think of the people who might want to use them.

Yeah they do, alot better. When I hit level 84 and make a new image, you can dress it up for me.
