I am trying to edit the primary.css file in Scourge to set a background image for the titles.

 Code:
.big {
    font: 11px Verdana;
    color: #DF9F20;
    background-color:#990000;
    border: solid 1px #aaaaaa;
    padding: 2px;
    margin-bottom: 3px;
    }

I've deleted the background-color part and replaced it with:

 Code:
background-image: url(images/bigbg.gif);

But no result.
What am I doing wrong?

Shift+reload to skip the cache, or completely clear your cache altogether, too... CSS stored in separate files tends to get cached by the browser to save bandwidth, so if you make changes to a .css file you may not see them until you get rid of the cached version.
