I keep getting weapons that I don't meet the specific requirements to use so I'm forced to discard the item.

I was thinking is there a easy way to add 3 inventory slots so we can store items. And equip or discard the items at a later date.

I remember seeing an old thread about Anman possibly working on a exchange/market item mod so players could add items for sale. That's a fabulous idea and I'm thinking with an inventory slots, the player could easily add items to the market for sale which are stored in their unused inventory.

So getting back to the Inventory Slots, is there an easy way of implementing this feature. Bare in mind that I'm a newbie when it comes to php programming so hopefully this will not too complicated to do.

Yes it's ready easy. But Anman won't let me discuss DS coding, so I won't tell you.

I never said you couldnt. You were just wrong all the time.

I tried to code a "spare item" once and it worked quite well. Until you wanted to use it.

Dude just make 6 fields, 3 for id, 3 for name. Then just call on it when you need it. To replace your current equipment, or to be sold.

Doesnt quite work like that. Its not as easy to do in DS as it is in DK. I had a quick stab and a quick stab turned into a bit of an effort and I ended up throwing the whole idea away. It could be done easily, if you just sat down and thought about it.

Whats wrong with just making an id field, name field, and attribute field for storing?

Ok, so youve stored the item... Now what? What if you want to use it? What happens with the old item?

You copy the item you current have, then move the new one into your equipped slot, and then put the copied one into your storage overwriting the old one.

What about applying new stats and removing old stats? Hmm? Hmm? And dont forget, DS has randomly generated items.

I didn't know DS uses different stats because I don't use DS. I was going by picking out out the ID number of the equipment from the database. It'd be more complex with stat attachments.

YOU HAVE TO DO IT IN DK AS WELL!

You cant just swap an items ID out. YOu have to update that users stats with the new items stats, and remove the old items stats.
