Anman your a stupid fucker.

Using a timestamp for a player, would mean that if they logged in at 3AM they would have to login at 3AM again.

Where a cron job would reset every 24 on the exact same time as any other player you fucker.

The difference being? 3am-3am is still 24 hours. 24 hours still equals ONE day.

If that isnt good enough for you then:

$give = number of hours since last give
$gendate = now - ( now * ($give / 24))
if now < $gendate {$gendate = now - $give

or something like that. I havnt thought about it much because I honestly dont care enough.

Same result.

Of course an idiot like you is stupid because none of that coding would work, because you didn't format it right.

The point is to have reset at the same time every day. That is so that if they login before reset, they get orbs, if they miss it, they don't.

i been working on a mod for cheats within the babblebox, but i have got have gotten no where. would u be able to make a cheat mod where u type in words in the babble box, and click babble, and your health restores, or it increases stuff like that. thanks

It's pointless to do, but yeah easy.

When a message is entered into the babble, it is inserted into the database. All you have to do is run a check if the message entered, matches the cheat code, and poof run the query to update the player.

Very simple

i tried both of these
elseif ($safecontent == "give me money" || $safecontent == "give me money"){
$update = doquery("UPDATE {{table}} SET gold='.$userrow[gold]. + 100'", "users");
}

elseif ($safecontent == "give me money" || $safecontent == "give me money"){

doquery("UPDATE {{table}} SET gold='gold + 100'", "users");
}

when the text is entered it doesn't display it but it doesnt increase your gold.

Ok this is untested but should work.

Open index.php and find

$safecontent = makesafe($_POST["babble"]);

Add this under it.

$cheat = $_POST["babble"];

Find this line

} else { $to = ""; }

and after the closing bracket. Add this

if ($cheat == "gimme gold")
{
$updatequery = doquery("UPDATE {{table}} SET gold=gold+10000 WHERE id='".$userrow["id"]."' LIMIT 1", "users");
}
