I still don't know the real difference between dexterity and defensepower and strength and attackpower.

I thought it was something like:
- attackpower/defensepower determines how much damage you do/how much damage you take; you can raise your attackpower/defensepower by buying items at the store
- strength/dexterity - the higher your str/dex, the higher your att/def power. But what is the x.. number of this? (like if you don't have items and your strenght is 50, what will be your attackpower?)

*sigh* such noobie questions.

Attackpower = The amount of damage your able to do.

Defensepower = The amount of defense you have, being able to less less damage.

Strength = Chance for an excellent hit. The higher strength the better chance.

Dexterity = The chance of dodging an attack.

Just like around the fight file for references to it. I think strength also increases the chance for criticals slightly or something too. Better yet, why dont you just make your OWN use for the stats. Or take them out if you dont like them.

For some reason I completely only read the first bit about the strength of critical hits. meh.

And its obviously also used to determine what items you can use.

Thats an idea, never thought of using strength to determine what items to use. But nah don't want it.

Uh, im pretty sure that was a stock concept in DK actually.

Like, I had a weapon type stone in my old DK game that had high strength requirements. Just adds to more specialised characters.

The best weapons need lots of strength, thus the fighters will bet he best fighters, the best mage items and such need intelligence, thus the best mages are... you get the point.
