I'm thinking of starting a project called "DK Advanced". It's just like DK Modded but only with working mods and better graphics.
So basically I'm just going to add mods to default DK, make the graphics look better and post the whole script on the DK mod page. I will take a few mods from the DK Mod page (the authors of those mods will be listed in the readme file!) but I will make the most mods myself. Examples: - Working PvP - Working PM system - Trainer mod - Skill points mod - Advanced quest mod (using scripts, not just SQL, you can create them your own but I will make some examples) - Travel instantly to a location mod
I think I can finish this tomorrow or perhaps this week. That's because I already have many of the scripts needed.
But my question is: is anyone interested? If no one needs this then I see no reason to start this project.
You won't need much knowledge of PHP, I will edit the install.php file so all MySQL tables that are required will be listed there as well, so you don't have to add SQL tables by yourself.

Yeah I think I'm going to leave these forums for good. It was fun, sometimes, but now I'm just wasting my time.
Oh Fayt a really original answer from you would be "Finally" or "Good", I really wouldn't expect that from you -.-'

I'm not used to people telling me what to do? You don't even know me.
The only thing you know is my nickname but that's not even my true name. I use different nicknames on other forums and this nickname is about 2 years old and it was my friend's account (although I took it over from him).
And in my opinion giving 1 out of 5 scores to mods that are quite good doens't really help. People won't be motivated to keep making mods and that's BAD.

But mods can be used for inspiration and you can edit them yourself to make them better. Like the Kingdoms mod, it has some bugs but you could add some things to the script and edit it and you'll have a very nice mod just for yourself.
I think there are also many people here on these forums that want to create a game just for fun and they can really use some mods, even when they're buggy. They just host DK on a free host somewhere, put there own name on the bottom copyright bar and let there friends play it.
I think we shouldn't only help people who know a lot of PHP, I think we should just help everyone. There are only a few people who have a succesful game based on DK/DS and they don't need mods. So what does it matter that there are only buggy mods, the people who download them don't count. And they're not that buggy.
