I was trolling the forums today and saw this, and I thought I would reply to a post for the first time in an eon.

I never really had any personal experience with the captain, I was too young when he was on the tube, or maybe my parents felt he was too bizarre, more bizarre than a six foot tall yellow bird. Hypocrites much?

I must say it is always sad when someone who gives (or in this case gave) children joy during their lifetime. Fred Rodgers is another person that I lamented when he died. However there are many people who don't understand exactly why. I pity them, truly pity those who do not appreciate the message given by these people.

When compared to the pre-packaged, psychdelia that is broadcast as children's programming these days, it is no wonder that children are so alienated, so misaligned. I am Jack's raging bile duct.

That is all I will say this though. We will miss you Captain, we will miss you and everything you stood for.

It's good to be back. It's been a while since I have been to the forums, I almost forgot what it was like here.
