So I was walking through the video store, as my kind are prone to do, and I saw what was obviously an independent film, just sitting on the rack. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I been haven pretty good luck with new indy movies from blockbuster, so I rented Pieces of April. It was beautiful. As with all indy movies, the directing was a little off the norm. But when I got finished watching it, I actually felt... well... good. It's a crazy thought, I know. So, if you see this one at the the local rental joint, it's definitely worth a look. And there is just something about movies that feature a white girl dating a black guy that give me hope for the future. I'd like to go into detail about the plot, but I don't want to ruin it for ya.
