For one, right off the start nice game you got here i really like it. I am hosting my own as of today. mostly toying with it to get an idea of the game and fuctions. I have no players of course being that I just uploaded it today but, i was woundering, can you only battle the creatures or can you battle other members? If not, thats the only thing I can think of this game needs!
A few other things. I seen the post about the bastard who stole your game. I was woundering, in the text it said I could edit everything but the copy rights. With that said, is it ok if I change the look and main logo too? I like the basic look now but want a little something more too it. I will leave all the copy rights and links back to here, just want to change the name of the game and a few graphic's lol. Don't want to end up labled a game thief tho lol.

oh and I seen a ideas are welcome somewhere so here is the only ones I can think of.
* able to battle other members
* able to buy items such as heal potions and such in an item store.
Other then that, i can do everything else myself.

In Dragon Knight, you can only battle monsters. PVP will be coming in Dragon Scourge, the next game project I've announced.
Yes, you are perfectly free to change whatever graphics you want. As it says in the download rules, you are free to change absolutely anything you want, except for the copyrights. Several other people around here have modified the game and added new functions and stuff like that. As long as my link stays at the bottom, you won't be labelled a thief. 
Heal potions, or something like them, are on the proverbial whiteboard for Scourge, though it sorta depends on how well they fit in with the scheme of the game whether they'll be kept in or removed.

As of now, you can only sell an item back to the vendor when you purchase a new item to replace it. This may change in Scourge, I'm not sure.
I do plan on having some sort of trading functionality though, with the PVP type stuff, where you can trade items for money or other items, among other players.

ok i need some info on splicing table for possibly using dbl tables parsing for 1. thee current battle 2 you already split the first to hit the bars i wish to hit the first cell and query a string of ani's . what do ya think ? to start the battle then to give a vissual of the onster they are fighting

Monster graphics have already been tried by someone (can't remember who now). You're quite welcome to try again, but be warned that graphics (especially animations) are gonna trash your bandwidth. That (and the sheer amount of work required to draw 150 different monsters) is the reason that it's not in the game in the first place. The server has quite enough work to do and stuff to echo without adding in graphics and animations too.

well as far as band width i have 30 gig per month or dsl from my home web pc and i have only 500 meg up on my web host but i have 120gig avail on my home web (i.e.and i can add more if i need ) my home web pc is a p4-2.8ghz with 240 gig total hard drives 1gig of 2700mhzRAM , 256MB NFORCE ULTRA AGP VIDEO , 1 LG 52X32X52 BURNER ,1 DVD ROM , 21" VEIWSONIC MONITOR , standard sb awe32 sound 6 channel with a yamaha speaker solution . opti mouse , ms standard keyboard . blackhawk digital joystick ,wacomm graphire digipad , usb hub , dazzel anolog to pc input , and a Lexmark x75 all in one trio I run winxppro with win server2003 , mysql ,apache , lots of open source, pspro adobe ps ,and tons of other programs that i own . I am not trying to brag i am simply trying to show my resources . plus i have 5 other pc's on my lan and ony one of them can serve as a host as well. this is why I am tryin to develope a mmorpg as well .

DSL uses a dynamic IP, so trying to host a live website is pointless for all intents and purposes. Secondly, DSL upstream bandwidth is limited to 128kb/s (lowercase), which ends up being about 16KB/s (uppercase). And that's in a perfect, lag-free world. You get two or three people trying to use your website at the same time, and it will basically grind to a halt.
Like I said, you are more than welcome to try yourself. Have fun with it. But graphics are not going in the official code, because publically available applications have to be written with the lowest common denominator in mind.
