She is hating.
Loathing, seething.
She lashes at the life she has made for herself.
Tears and rages, rips down the twisted visions of love,
That she herself has painted.
In the corner a boy smiles.
She sets the fire.
It builds, consumes.
An inferno of emotion that devours her pain.
Driven by demons of shame and regret,
That she herself has birthed.
In the corner the boy still smiles.
She echoes her pain.
A scream that shatters souls and minds.
In her her pain, anguish, sorrow,
She bellows only for the answers.
Why, in my pain, does he smile?
In the corner the boy still smiles.
For in her pain,
Her anguish,
Her engulfing desire.
He has no hope, but to smile,
And wait for death.
