I, um, *cough* obtained a copy of 3ds Max 7 a few days ago, and I've been playing with it quite a bit. After going through dozens of tutorials and help files, I finally was able to accomplish something pretty close to what I wanted to do. A few color touch-ups in Photoshop, and I was done. So here's my first ever 3D rendered graphic. It's also the logo for my soon-to-be-official (incorporated) company, renderse7en.
I've got Bryce 5, but just about the only cool thing I can do with it is pretty mountainscapes.
Bryce is the shit! I used to mess with it a ton back in the day. Jamin may remember the crap I did with it. I never got around to using it for something USEFUL, but none the less.
And Jamin, when you finally get the company up and running, I will gladly be the donut errand boy of the office.
Totally. Give me a job. I can't pass a piss test though, prolly.
For your first, it's fine; like the guy before me said.
But in my opinion, I believe it's a lot easier to use photoshop for anything in the area of rendering.
Otherwise, nice job.
