Has anyone buyed "enter the matrix" for PC? Ive been seening alot of commericals, and it looks pretty cool. But, when I went to the website, i found out that it was another one of those games that had monthly subsp costs. I am debating whether or not i want to get it --- anyone have any feedback on the game itself? etc.
thanks, michael

Well I have played the one for xbox which I would assume is similar; but it is okay at first, but after a while it doesn't remain exciting. However, this is just my opinion.

The Matrix Online looks awesome. It is my favorite movie, and this is suposedly an extension to that, which makes me want it even more. I would really pay up to $40 a month just for this, and I am cheaper then hell. The only problem is that my PC can't run it :(

im not sure where ur located gary, but go find a MICROCENTER store near ur place; they are selling some VERY CHEAP computers that are VERY GOOD; e.g. amd 64 bits less than 1k ez. also, they've got all the goods that expensive compusa, bestbuy, and circuit city has but everything is less expensive..
if worse comes to worst, try newegg or something lol. save up 400 and get urself a nice box
as for Matrix Online... ya ur righ, the 40 bucks is not worth it. ill stick to DS when Jamin decides to release it. =)

One of my buddies (can't remember what his username on here is) bought a pretty decent A64 setup for like $500 from eBay. IIRC, it didn't have anything outside the box (no monitor/speakers/kb/mouse), but if you've already got that stuff, it's a pretty good deal for just the box. And as long as you buy from someone with a decent feedback rating, it's pretty safe, too.

No no no, I meant I WOULD pay $40 a month to play it. I love The Matrix.
I might have to save up to get a new PC. Mine is so damn slow :(

I'm going to charge $5 per turn to play DS, I think. Does that sound reasonable? ;)

I was thinking $6, but if you wanna go cheap, fine. I guess you won't be getting that Ferrari anytime soon ;)

seriously jamin, u could do that.. if you take my idea of allowin the users to see each other's locations when chatting...
[3E2N] Michael: Hey everyone!
... u could charge them 5 bucks to have their loc be hidden.
[****] Michael: Hey everyone!
... =) its just one of my ideas

I actually play The Matrix Online. It's pretty cool, but kinda slow right now as they add new content. If you pick it up, I play on the Iterator server, character name Trikraft.

Ooo, never noticed this thread. I play MxO and its pretty good actually. Ive seen some bad reviews etc which I believe are kinda unfair. it definitely has potential. However, you do need a really good computer to run it and AT LEAST 1gb of RAM since I tried it on 512 and it's bad.
If anyone here happens to play it and is on the Proxy server, let me know ;)

Actually, Iterator has a low population, so we don't lag bad at all....until the events start.....and every fuck stick who wants to meet Morpheus, or Agent Skinner, or Flood mobs the fucking parks and clubs. I hate people.
