Do you think that since we already pretty much ALL knew who they were, that they might be a little more mainstream then you're giving credit for?
They are crap, and the entire concept of white guys encouraging white kids to act like something they aren't is neither amusing, nor is it something I support.

My little brother tried to assimilate me into his group.
I can probably smoke the cotton mouth kings under a fucking table, and then do shots off thier momma's ass crack. So he was in a punk band, big fucking dea.
I can think of a few people who were in cool bands before going gay... Zach De La Rocha is one...
now he does gangsta rap. does the fact that he was once in Rage Against the Machine make up for what he's doing now? No, it doesn't.
Do you remember The Offspring before they were lame, back when they weren't called the OffSpring?
Singing about weed doesn't mean that you are cool or that you are any more of a pothead than the average smoker, because you can ask anyone who knows me, man... I've consumed more drug for real than they have EVER sung about.
That doesn't make me cool, but that does make the resident singer of drug related songs... they can take a seat. If you'd like, I can show you a picture of what may or MAY NOT be growing in a closet if that would help... and see, I don't listen to them.
I know about them, I just think they are absolute shit.
I like how everyone assumes that I am uninformed in my thinking things suck. I'm not into trends, so if I say something sucks, it's because I think so, not because I think others think so.
